I have an awareness that I am not good at subjunctive mood. I think the expression is often used, but it can be one of the hurdles frequently when people in my country learn English. She detected my lack of understanding of it and prepared study materials for me. I will work on it and want to overcome this weakness in the next lesson.

She had me wake up to the unexpected fact. It is the pronunciation of ‘he’. I think most Japanese people don’t mouth ‘he’ correctly and don’t recognize their mistakes. It’s because there is no sound [h] in Japanese. But a similar one exists as [çi]. As a result, when they pronounce ‘he,’ it is understood as ‘she’ for listeners except for Japanese. That may sound absurd for foreigners, but I can encompass a severe problem. It is the first time I was pointed out that. Then I’m obliged for her kindness.
